· liver disease,

· dizziness or loss of coordination; or
· severe diarrhea metronidazole cream.
• Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur metronidazole cream. Continueto take metronidazole and talk to your doctor if you experience
· darkening of your urine;
· nausea, vomiting, or loss of appetite;
· an unpleasant metallic taste in your mouth;
· constipation or mild diarrhea;
· headache; or
· swollen or sore tongue metronidazole cream.
• Side effects other than those listed here may also occur metronidazole cream. Talk to yourdoctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome metronidazole cream.
What other drugs will affect metronidazole?
• Before taking this medication, tell your doctor if you are taking anyof the following medicines:
· a barbiturate such as phenobarbital (Luminal, Solfoton), amobarbital(Amytal), or secobarbital (Seconal) metronidazole cream. These medicines may decrease the effectsof metronidazole metronidazole cream.
· warfarin (Coumadin) metronidazole cream. Bleeding may occur if metronidazole and warfarinare used together metronidazole cream.
· phenytoin (Dilantin) metronidazole cream. Phenytoin may cause dangerous side effects whentaken with metronidazole metronidazole cream.
· lithium (Lithobid, Eskalith, others) metronidazole cream. Lithium may also cause dangerousside effects when taken with metronidazole metronidazole cream.
